About the role:

The Account Director plays a pivotal role in our agency, overseeing client relationships, leading a team of account managers and specialists, and driving the development and execution of high-impact social media marketing strategies. With a focus on client satisfaction, strategic leadership, and continuous improvement, the Account Director ensures the successful delivery of campaigns, fosters team growth, and contributes to the agency's overall success in a dynamic digital and social media landscape.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee high-level client relationships and serve as the main point of contact.
  • Develop and implement effective social media marketing strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Lead the strategic direction of the agency, guiding account managers and specialists.
  • Iterate upon internal processes to handle additional clients as the organization continues to scale.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends and opportunities.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to make data-driven recommendations and optimizations.
  • Lead the team in creating detailed reports and presentations to communicate campaign results to clients.
  • Support in bespoke proposal development on a case-by-case basis.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging social media trends.
  • Ensure the team is briefing and monitoring the performance of paid media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the creative and content teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Manage budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Ensure the team is building, planning and implementing the overall digital marketing strategy.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices.
  • Ensure the team is proactively pitching new growth tactics to our clients on a weekly basis.
  • Lead meetings both internally and externally.

Necessary Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in social media marketing or account management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing social media accounts and driving business growth.
  • 4+ years in a managerial position responsible for overseeing digital marketers and/or account management teams
  • 7+ years of experience managing marketing teams (social media managers, content creators, etc.)
  • 7+ years of experience running digital marketing campaigns (ideally in the music industry)
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • General paid media knowledge (understanding of Google Analytics and Facebook Ads Manager)
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • An independent worker with strong time management and organization skills.
  • A problem solver with foresight and the ability to develop creative solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of digital advertising and marketing issues and trends, including the corresponding media landscape.
  • Ability to quickly and easily comprehend NOX’s business, issues and competitive environment, and translate them into agency plans and action.
  • Very experienced with the Google Suite [Gmail, Cal, Google Drive].
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities in a client-facing role.
  • Professional and respectful demeanor in dealing with internal and external business partners.
  • Integrity and optimism, regardless of the situation.
  • Use information, data, and resources to proactively identify and solve problems to get the job done.
