About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Video Editor Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual with a passion for video editing to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for visual storytelling, excellent technical skills, and a desire to learn and grow in the field of video production.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a film, media production, or related program.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including pacing, timing, and storytelling.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing skills and creativity (please include a link to your portfolio with your application).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist the design team and strategy team in editing and post-production tasks for various projects, including but not limited to promotional reels, social media content, short form content and more.
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with project objectives and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop creative concepts and ideas for video content.
• Incorporate graphics, effects, and sound elements to enhance the overall quality and impact of videos.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing software/tools.
